It's no secret I'm a dog lover, especially a little black dog named Poppy ;)
I'm not quite sure what happens to me sometimes but occasionally I get the urge to do something I don't particularly enjoy, sewing. I think I just want the finished product so much I just grin and bear the needle and thread bit.
I made this little dog after seeing a give away on a facebook page, I didn't win so I made my own, you can find the pattern here.
Which brings me to this weeks challenge at Stampotique, which is hosted by the enormously talented Kaz. Kaz is inviting us to 'Use a Tag', I immediately thought of Dog Tags!
So I coordinated my tag with my dog and used the following stamps:
This little dog hasn't got a name yet so any suggestions are welcome!
Wishing you a lovely day, Sam xxx
What an adorable project, love it!
ReplyDeleteRosie is an option for your very fabulous Dog, named after a flower (like Poppy) & the material pattern.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to make a Dog Tag, super cute:-) xxx
Rosie is a great name! xx
DeleteThis is so cute & gorgeous Sam! I thought Flora would make a good name, but Rosie is fab! xxx
DeleteFlora is a great name too :) xx
DeleteWell for someone who doesn't like sewing you have done a fantastic job... What a great coordinating tag you have made to go with this cute dog..... Our name suggestion is Rosie
ReplyDeleteAs a might have mentioned before : I love, love, love this little doggie. She is soo cute. I would call her Flower. And I will have to download the pattern as I do enjoy sewing occasionally !!
ReplyDeleteCorrie x
For me, you have to challenge you more often! This is so darn cute, and it looks perfect!
ReplyDeleteName: Pallina!
Rosie is a great name, my pathetic suggestion was Fleur (can I hear you chuckling!!!!!) or Buttons. Okay, I will stop there as they only get worse LOL.
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of the fact you made this little doggie yourself. It is so adorable and such pretty fabric. A really darling project and the matching tag is so sweet.
Viewing this post was a lovely way to end the day.
Wishes
Lynne

Just an adorable "make," Sam! Although I, too, like "Rosie" for her name, I can also see her responding happily to "Buttons!"
