This 8 x 8 inch canvas brings together many loves for me, stamping, pink, flowers, sparkle, beeswax and Poppy, with a brilliant quote that inspired the whole piece.
The girl image is a Suzi Blu stamp and represents me, if I were slim and had the courage to wear skirts! The little dog is my precious Princess Wiggle Pants, Poppy. Poppy is a little black dog but as you can see I can't draw for toffee, (that's why I buy stamps!!!) and if I had coloured Poppy in black I'm certain she would have just turned into a black blob!
I really enjoyed making this though it seemed to take a really long time, my usual makes are a couple of hours tops (I'm impatient), this was about 6 hours. Personally I love it, it's a very personal piece of lovely smelling beeswax art.
Hope you like it too.
Wishing you a day filled with loveliness, Sam xxx
