I am on a mission to use up patterned paper. When I first discovered paper crafting I purchased patterned paper like it was going to disappear from the face of the earth, and so it has been sitting, winking and waiting to be used.
So for this months DT project for Roc Nicholas I have made a postcard using the first patterned paper I got, I can remember how excited I was by the colours and possibilites. That was before I discovered rubber stamps :) I have used 3 of Roc's wonderful stamp designs, they are:
and Steampunk Border
these stamps and others can be found at the Stampotique online store here!
Wishing you a lovely weekend, Sam xxx

This is gorgeous Sam, I love your pink pony. It did make me laugh reading your post, perhaps we should set up shop together selling patterned paper 'cos I got boxes of the damned stuff! (but I'm so pretty you can't possibly cut me lol) xx

Know what you mean about patterened papers. A few years ago i discovered paints and rubber stamps and now very rarely use my patterened papers without altering them.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, loving the stamps and lovely colours. Looking forward to more of your papers being used:-) xxx
Good luck with your mission, Sam. If you're anything like me (and I started the same way) it will take centuries to get through it. You've made a wonderful start.
ReplyDeleteThis is just fabulous Samantha and the colours are wonderful. Yes I agree with the abundance of patterned papers that we all must have!! You have been really creative with the use of yours and the stamps. have a good weekend

Ah I remember those days well Sam, I, too, bought loads of paper. Rarely use it on cards so I make other things with it :) Love how you have used the paper, this is another gorgeous card xx
ReplyDeleteHugs to you and Poppy xx
Gorgeous!!! Love the colours! xxx
ReplyDeleteYour ponytail is so cute, I think that your patterned paper just makes a perfect background here! Lovely card Sam. :) Hugs to you and to Poppy too, Coco xxx
ReplyDeleteCreative use of that abundant patterned paper supply, Sam! Love your play on works with the (C)ART JUNKIE stamp!! A very pretty and fun postcard!
ReplyDeleteLovey and whimsical card, Sam. I totally quote your words about patterned papers...
ReplyDeleteIn your hands the pattern paper has been elevated to appear as though you have been busy at work with all manner of stamps, paints and inks to create a one of a kind paper - it looks as though it was created with the ponytail stamp in mind.
ReplyDeleteGorgeously quirky.
